Women for Positive Change

Women For Positive Change (WFPC) is a group of like-minded women who share common political goals. We nurture, encourage and seek capable, eligible Pro-Choice Democratic women to run for public offices at all levels of government. We seek Positive Change for all Americans, Positive vs. Negative, Change vs. Status Quo. We welcome all women who have a desire and passion to increase social responsibility and the quality of equality.

Women For Positive Change are today’s
and tomorrow’s Suffragists.

Affiliation with one party or another may not completely cover all issues. Unfortunately, our State and Federal Governments under Republican tenure have abrogated our Civil Liberties and have strayed far from the pursuit of Justice, the fight for Human and Privacy Rights, Equal Opportunity and Freedom of the Press and Speech.

I look to the Democratic Party as the vehicle of choice to achieve our goals because their Platform is FOR all the issues that you and I and our Group hold dear. Most of the women who attended the initial meeting (December 7, 2005) were already involved in their local Democratic organizations and/or have worked for the Gore, Kerry, and Hackett campaigns.  They are very active on the internet and call attention to breaking news. They attend meetings, lectures, campaign vigorously, and work the polls on election days. I am impressed with their political intellect, enthusiasm, seriousness and good humor. It is amazing to me how many women are anxious and excited to work with us.”  We encourage all women to join WFPC to establish a camaraderie that can help change our world.
